Am I alone in hating the format of dav3? I mean for one thing, whenever I try to access my user page, first I have to answer 'no i don't want to subscribe' to the page that comes up. I don't want to subscribe because I don't think DA does anything for me as much as the fact that I CANNOT AFFORD IT. I AM A POOR ASS UNI ARTS STUDENT. Also, I like how they took the messages board where you could previously see the thumbnails of the people who are on your devwatch list and made it so that if you want to be able to see these thumbnails, YOU MUST SUBSCRIBE. I don't think this does anything but make it so people DONT watch other deviants because it makes it a pain in the ass. It's easier just to go to their user site every once in a while and go through their gallery. Also, from what I've heard from my writer friends, the new format for submitting written works sucks ass. I don't really like having to submit a seperate png or jpg image for thumbnailing on gif images either. I mean, don't people usually use gif for thumbnails because of the dither scaling? I don't get it.

On a non-bitchy note, I used my $50 gift cert that I got for my birthday for arts supplies and got some sweet new pencils and some pastel board I'm very excited to use them. Cretacolor is the best pencil maker ever I've decided. I've used derwent, I've used prismacolors, crayola and many others, of all Cretacolors have the most vibrant, smooth colour and they all blend really well. And they have more than just pencils, they have chaulks and pastels and they all blend really well together. But I got the "big" set of Cretacolor watercolour pencils. I'm hoping to do some work with them during my daily traintime to post.
